Trash Fire Destroys Deere Excavator

A pile of rubbish outside a recycling center caught fire in New Hampshire.

A trash fire at a transfer station in Keene, New Hampshire, consumed a Deere excavator. The fire occurred at 10:30 p.m. local time, according to Sullivan NH Fire & Rescue, at the Keene Recycling Center.

A rubbish pile outside of the transfer was on fire, and the excavator was parked next to it. Images posted on Facebook show the machine engulfed in flames.

According to a report on WKBK, the machine is considered a total loss, estimated at $400,000.
