See the side-to-side offset boom in action, and more

Takeuchi's TB257 FR hydraulic excavator features a side-to-side offset boom for work in close quarters.

J.R. Boerner, from the company's Chicago-area dealer McCann Industries, conducts a walk-around highlighting the boom, hydraulics, tracks, and engine and hydraulic serviceability.

You'll also see a demonstration of the offset boom. The 10,000-pound TB257 FR will be the subject of an upcoming Construction Equipment Field Test in the January 2024 issue. There will also be more video, including independent operator comments.
