Takeuchi TB350R excavator digs to 11 feet 9 inches.

Model TB350R Takeuchi excavator is the first short-tail-swing model in the company’s 5-ton-lineup and expands its TB300 series. Rear swing overhang is 2.95 inches.

Operating weight is 10,980 pounds with a canopy, and it digs to 11 feet 9 inches. Its Kubota diesel provides 41.7 horsepower at 2,000 rpm and 130.2 lb.-ft. of torque.

A four-pump hydraulic system delivers smooth, harmonized control of the work equipment. Both canopy and cab configurations are equipped with a primary auxiliary circuit plumbed to mid-arm. The cab model also includes a dedicated coupler circuit operated by controls located inside the cab. The primary auxiliary circuit delivers 26.4 gpm at 2,990 psi.

The interior has been redesigned. The canopy configuration includes a 4.3-inch high-definition, multifunction color monitor; the cab model has a 7-inch touchscreen, multifunction color monitor with integrated air conditioner and radio functions.

Other improvements include a deluxe, high-back, six-way-adjustable suspension seat, adjustable arm rests, low-effort pilot controls, large flat floor area, and integrated footrests. An intuitive jog dial on the cab model provides operators with easy navigation and control of the multifunction monitor and other machine functions.

A wide-opening rear engine service door and a right-side cover that opens overhead provide access to key daily inspection points. Takeuchi’s Fleet Management (TFM) telematics system is standard with free access during the two-year standard warranty period.
