Bobcat R2 Series E60 Excavator

Oct. 28, 2020

The R2 Series Bobcat E60 excavator has an operating weight of 12,315 pounds and is powered by a 55-horsepower, redesigned Bobcat diesel engine. The new engine improves cold-weather operation and has a larger fuel filter with more holding capacity to capture impurities for longer intervals.

Maximum dig depth for the Bobcat E60 compact excavator is 13.1 feet, and maximum dump height is 14.3 inches.

The new cooling system has side-by-side heat exchangers, which controls engine compartment temperature more efficiently, improving performance and serviceability while protecting engine component life. There is no need to separate coolers to remove debris or wash out the coolers.

New dual flange rollers improve ride quality and result in an increase in lift-over-side capacity, improved over-the-side digging performance, and slewing ability.

Optional clamp diverter valve enhances hydraulic clamp functionality and improves the machine’s ability to run other attachments without disconnecting the clamp. Auxiliary hydraulics have been relocated on the excavator arm, making it easier to reach and attach. A standard integrated lift eye provides operators with a method for handling objects or moving them in and out of the trench.
