Maximum digging depth is 18 feet 1 inch, with a maximum dumping height of 20 feet 4 inches. Digging reach is 27 feet 2 inches.
The swing radius for the PC130-11 excavator is 8 feet. Bucket digging force is 18,190 pounds.
Komatsu produced a walk-around video at Conexpo 2020, below.
Fuel consumption has been reduced 12 percent, compared to the PC130-8, using a temperature-controlled viscous fan clutch and improved engine and hydraulic system efficiencies. The engine shuts down after idling for a set period of time to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The countdown to shutdown can be programmed from 5 to 60 minutes.
A closed-center load-sensing system (CLSS) improves fuel efficiency and provides quick response to the operator’s demands. The system matches engine and hydraulic demand a the most efficient point under any load condition. The main valve and hydraulic circuit has been improved to reduce loss.
A new monitor panel includes an updated large high-resolution LCD monitor. The interface now displays key machine information in a user-friendly manner. A rear-view camera and DEF level gauge display have been added to the default main screen. KomVision, an optional three-camera system, provides a bird’s eye view of the machine and surrounding area.
The machine is backed by Komatsu CARE, which provides complimentary factory-scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 2,000 hours.
