LiuGong 9018F mini excavator and LiuGong 9027FZTS zero tail swing compact excavator have operating weights of 4,189 and 6,063 pounds, respectively. The  excavators are equipped with load-sensing hydraulics (with a variable-flow, proportional, auxiliary system) and are powered by Yanmar engines, which have auto-idle and auto-shutdown systems.

The 9018F is a standard configuration length excavator with retractable undercarriage, which ranges from a minimum width of 39 inches to a maximum width 51 inches. It also has a foldable dozer blade.

Boom and dozer cylinder guards are standard. The excavators are available with an open TOPS cab or closed ROPS cab with heat and feature two-speed travel shifted via a joystick switch. Attachment flow is adjusted through the monitor, and boom swing is controlled with a thumb switch. The arm is thumb.

The sixth generation 9027FZTS excavator features integrated technology, intelligence, and environmental protection. The 51,588-pound excavator uses electronically controlled hydraulic systems, and the auto engine-shutdown system and integrated work modes are designed for high productivity and fuel economy.

The operator’s station features a 10-inch LCD screen, which can accommodate integrated 3D machine-control options and a dig-assist system. Operator-assist features, says the company, include single-pedal drive for straight travel, follow-me mode, payload system, and smart maintenance.
