Kubota KX033-4 Excavator

The KX033-4 is available with an extendable dipper arm that extends 31 inches and provides this three-ton-class machine with a digging depth of 12 feet 2 inches and a reach of 18 feet 3 inches. The KX033-4 is powered with a Kubota direct-injection diesel and features an auto-downshift feature that automatically downshifts from high to low travel range, depending on traction and terrain. When the auto-idling system is engaged and control levers are in neutral for more than four seconds, the engine automatically reverts to idle speed; if the operator moves any lever, engine speed resumes.

The operator’s station features a larger entrance, more leg room, “easy-open” front glass windows, deluxe suspension seat, cup holder, wrist rest, and air conditioning. A digital panel, part of Kubota’s Intelligent Control System, provides essential information for the operator. Engine components are consolidated on one side of the machine, and rear and right-side hoods, made of steel panels, open fully to facilitate inspection and routine maintenance. Positioning the panels inside the counterweight edge, says Kubota, provides added protection.
