The PC650LC-11 excavator, with an operating weight ranging from 140,456 to 145,284 pounds, has a 436-horsepower Komatsu SAS6D140E-7 engine with an SCR system and EGR technology. An Operator Identification System has up to 100 ID codes, which allows the machine to track and report on key operating information for various applications, operators, or jobs. An Auto Idle Shutdown function has also been added to the Generation 11 machine.
The Komatsu-made open center load-sensing hydraulic system offers three working modes, and Gen 11 enhancements reduce hydraulic loss.
The ISO-certified cab is strengthened by a reinforced box-structure framework and mounted on viscous isolation dampers. The LCD monitor displays DEF fluid level, “ecology guidance,” operational records, fuel consumption history, and utilization information; and it also displays a landscape view from the standard rearview camera.
An easy-to-reach 16.4-gallon DEF tank provides 2:1 diesel-to-DEF refill ratio and is in a lockable compartment. Radiator and hydraulic oil coolers are mounted side by side for ease of maintenance and service.
