LBX 210 X4 Excavator is 9% Faster

Jan. 22, 2016

The 48,900-pound 210 X4 excavator delivers up to 9 percent faster cycles times than its predecessor, according to the manufacturer. A proprietary control valve has 30 percent more hydraulic passage area, and the design features larger arm, boom and auxiliary spools. Two electrically controlled Kawasaki variable-displacement axial-piston pumps and one Kawasaki gear pump are also included.

A 160-horsepower Isuzu AR-4HK1X engine meets Tier 4-Final requirements without a DPF, using SCR technology. The new unit has 12 percent improvement in fuel economy, the company says.

An optional Wide Angle Visual Enhancement System (WAVES) includes three closed-circuit, high-resolution cameras that provide a 270-degree viewing envelope with no blind spots, according to LBX.

RemoteCARE telematics system includes a three-year subscription at no extra charge.
