Kobelco SK25, SK17 Excavators Meet T4-F Standards

The SK25 is a new model for Kobelco, and the SK17 has been upgraded. Dig depths are 9 feet 2 inches and 7 feet 3 inches, respectively. The SK25 has a digging force of 4,546 pounds with a maximum digging reach of 15 feet 7 inches. The SK17 has digging force of 2,833 pounds with a reach of 12 feet 2 inches.

Operating weight of the SK25 is 5,930 pounds. It comes with either steel or rubber tracks. Swing radius is 5 feet 5 inches.

The SK17 weighs 3,836 pounds and has hydraulic side frames that retract to 37 inches and expand to 50 inches. Swing radius is 4 feet 6 inches.

The operator’s station on the two excavators include an optimized control layout for easy operation, a large area for excellent visibility, and ample floor space with large travel pedals to ensure operation is easy and comfortable.

Both the SK25 and SK17 come standard with a boom light to minimize potential damage during operation, as well as a travel alarm that notifies others nearby to stay clear. Additionally, a standard pattern changer allows for increased utilization and flexibility to match operator preference.
