Doosan DX63, DX85R Dash 3 Excavators

Tier 4 upgrades to the DX63-3 and DX85R-3 incorporate a DOC and DPF. Horsepower on the DX63-3 now matches the 59.4 horsepower of the DX85R-3. Operating weights are 13,779 and 18,960 pounds, respectively. The DX63-3 replaces the DX60R, and the upper-structure is shifted rearward for 11.6 inches of tail swing for improved over-the-side performance. Max dig depth is 13 feet 6 inches, and bucket force is 9,731 lb.-ft. The DX85R-3, a reduced tail swing model, has 5.8 inches of overhang. Max dig depth is 15 feet 6 inches, and breakout force was boosted 18 percent to 14,509 lb.-ft.
