Sany has added five models to its line of hydraulic excavators, with three available now and the remaining two to come later in 2011. Models SY75C-9, SY135C-8, and SY215C-8 are available now; SY235C-8 and SY335C-8 are coming. All have been designed for the North American market. Operating weights are 72,750 and 51,809 pounds for the SY335-8 and SY235-8, respectively. Each has Tier 4-I diesels that provide 5 percent better fuel efficiency. A “box cooler” on-demand cooling system saves space and improves visibility, the company says.
