Reaching for the first time beyond its traditional mini-excavator offering, Kubota offers the utility excavator market more than 14,000 pounds of bucket breakout force with the 64-horsepower KX080-3 model. The eight-metric-ton, tight-tail-swing excavator's oil-flow control feature allows easy in-cab adjustment to match the needs of the job or attachment in use. To ensure the machine remains where it should be, the KX080-3 features what is described by Kubota as the industry's first factory-installed anti-theft system, which allows only registered keys to crank the engine. Use of non-registered keys will disable the machine and sound an alarm. Estimated list price: $81,450.
