Sept. 28, 2010

Case's CX compact excavator line was introduced with zero tail swing and a center-swing boom that enables operators to maneuver in tight spaces without hitting obstacles. Five models (CX14, CX25, CX31, CX36 and CX47) cover a horsepower range from 11.9 to 36.5, and provide dig depths from 6 feet 11 inches to 11 feet 11 inches. The carriage has outer flange rollers for stability, tapered track guards for shedding dirt, and a short-pitch track for operator comfort. Estimated list price: $42,400.
