This model has a Cat C6.6 ACERT diesel meeting Tier 4-Interim standards with a rating of 130 net horsepower at 2,200 rpm. K2 models have hydrostatic drive with traction control, and wider blades improve productivity by up to 8 percent.

Other K2 features include single-lever travel/steering control and single-lever blade control. Cat Sealed-and-Lubricated Track or Cat SystemOne undercarriages are available, in configurations of XL (extra long) and LGP (low ground pressure).
