The 200 Series skid steer and compact track loaders have been upgraded with Tier 4-Final engines.
The L230 skid steer and C238 CTL use SCR technology; and the L218, L220 and L228 skid steers along with the C232 and C227 CTLs have a Fiat diesel using a DOC. The L213 and L216 skid steers have a DPF.
The L220 jumps to 67 horsepower, bringing a 21-percent higher peak torque rise at 1,800 rpm. The L218 stays at 60 horsepower with 7 percent more torque.
The L213 increases to 49 horsepower. The L216 replaces the L215 and has 1,600 pounds more lift capacity. Engine horsepower has increased to 52.
All models in the series have electronic engine control. CAN-messaging capabilities allow the operator to monitor and store diagnostic data points, including hydraulic oil temperature, fuel rail pressure and fuel tank level.
