The 3CX and 4CX JCB backhoe loaders now come standard with the company’s Tier 4-Interim Ecomax diesel engines, delivering up to 9 percent better fuel consumption and a 6 percent boost in torque, the company says.
JCB’s LiveLink telematics system is standard on all models and customers can opt for a new hydraulic thumb for the backhoe, along with new bucket toe plates for flat-bottomed trenches. The 3CX and 3CX Sitemaster come with a 74-horsepower engine, and the Sitemaster also can be specified with a 91-horsepower engine option. The 3CX Contractor and Contractor Pro, along with the 4CX, will come with a 109-horsepower engine.
