Doosan Portable Power has expanded its small air compressor lineup with XP185WDO, a high-
pressure model producing 185 cfm and 125 psi, making it ideal, says Doosan, for a variety of
applications, such as general construction, sandblasting, pneumatic-tool operation, pipeline
testing, and fiber optic cable installation.
The XP185 can simultaneously power both air and electrical tools when outfitted with an
optional 4kW generator. The machine is equipped with two 120V duplex outlets with access on
the curbside, rear panel of the air compressor. The new air compressor uses a 74-hp Tier 4-Final
engine with a diesel oxidation catalyst after-treatment system. The XP185WDO is designed to
deliver a 10-hour run time at 100-percent load, and functions efficiently, says Doosan, in extreme
temperatures, providing a limited ambient temperature of 125F.
