Described as an alternative to more expensive powershift solutions or sliding collar range shift transmissions, Dana Spicer 369 shift-on-the-fly hydrostatic transmission is designed for mid-sized construction, mining and material-handling vehicles. The transmission is composed of a single hydrostatic motor featuring a transfer case with low- and high-gear ratios, integrating the drive-train system into the engine’s controller area network to improve shift quality and reduce acceleration jerk during vehicle operation. The Spicer 369 can be remote-mounted as well as vertically or horizontally flanged to the axle.
