The six-axle AC 300-6 all-terrain crane has a rated lift capacity of 350 tons, a main-boom length of 262.5 feet. and is equipped with a luffing jib that provides a maximum system length of 387 feet. The single-engine crane features the Demag IC-1 Plus control system, which provides real-time calculation of lifting capacities and allows asymmetric outrigger positioning. A compact design (carrier length of 50.1 feet and width of 9.8 feet) and all-wheel steering, says the manufacturer (Terex Cranes), allows the AC 300-6 to maneuver in tight spaces. The crane can be configured to comply with the variable axle weight limits in most states by connecting different types of boom dollies or removing the boom, says Terex. An axle-load monitor displays loads on the dashboard.
