Danuser CB40 Hammer Concrete Breaker

Oct. 9, 2017

The CB40 Hammer Concrete Breaker has a 40-inch drop hammer design that achieves a full stroke with every cycle, delivering up to 82,000 pounds of impact force.

The drop weight is 500 pounds with a 4-inch-diameter round blunt point, allowing users to break up to 9-inch-thick reinforced concrete at 35 strokes per minute, Danuser says. Hydraulic requirements are 12-30 gpm without additional setup. The machine fractures the concrete so that a loader or excavator can remove the pieces. The drop hammer design, combined with an anti-dry fire mechanism, aims to reduce maintenance, heat, repairs, and downtime. One person can operate the attachment from the vehicle seat.
