An automated steering system helps operators navigate challenging driving conditions, according to the company. Each of the all-wheel steering modes can be activated at the click of a button on the right-hand console: coordinated, crab, manual, and standard highway mode.
Design improvements on the outriggers of the Grove TTS9000-2 include the rear outrigger box, which is now 5 inches higher to improve the departure angle to 18 degrees. The front outrigger jacks have been mounted 3.5 inches higher to improve ground clearance, while allowing for an extra 3 inches of outrigger stroke. The outrigger pad size has been increased from 20 to 24 inches.
