The LR330 luffing-jib tower crane incorporates the company’s new equilateral-triangle jib design.
According to Raimondi, the new crane is “structurally optimized,” having an overall design that allows the unit to be efficiently transported, facilitates assembly, and reduces wind impact on the jib.
Equipped with the company’s safety control system, the new crane allows operators to select among three configurations, “enabling changes in parameters related to movement speeds and dynamic.” The safety system’s sensors monitor the load and the crane’s movements, “alerting the operator with alarms and direct intervention as site hazards approach.”
The LR330 has a maximum jib length of 197 feet and a maximum capacity of 19.84 tons. Two-fall and four-fall configurations are available. At maximum radius, the LR330 can lift 3.63 tons in its Ultra-Lift mode. Six jib length configurations are available, from 98 to 197 feet, as are three hoisting winches, all available with a secondary emergency brake.
