Pettibone Extendo 1536X Telehandler

Pettibone telehandler can handle up to 16,000 pounds and has a maximum lift height of 36 feet.

Extendo 1536X Pettibone telehandler has a maximum load capacity of 16,000 pounds and maximum lift height of 36 feet. At maximum height, the telehandler can lift 13,000 pounds.

The telehandler has a two-section boom comprised of formed boom plates that the company says offers more strength than previous models while reducing weight. Boom deflection is minimized for better control and accuracy when placing loads, and boom overlap provides smoother operation and reduces the contact forces on wear pads.

The 120-horsepower Deutz TCD 3.6 diesel engine is mounted onto a side pod to provide access to components and daily service checks. It carries a 30-gallon fuel tank and uses foam-filled tires.

The hydraulic circuit has cylinder cushioning that dampens the end of strokes—both extending and retracting—to avoid the wear and tear of hard, jarring stops, while also helping to prevent the potential spilling of a load. Designed with a single lift cylinder that improves operator sight lines, it has twin hydraulic lines for tilt and auxiliary plumbing.

The telehandler has full-time four-wheel-drive with a limited-slip front-axle differential. The Dana VDT12000 Powershift transmission offers three speeds, forward and reverse.
