Aug. 24, 2021

Link-Belt 120 HT truck crane is rated at 120 tons and has a wider single-occupant cab than its predecessor, the HTC-86110. A new air ride suspension design, in collaboration with Hendrickson, includes air disc brakes (see below).

Counterweight payload increases from 16,000 pounds to 20,500 pounds without a boom dolly. Full counterweight for the 120 HT is 49,100 pounds. The front steering axles have an increased rating to 26,000 pounds each.

A Cummins X12 single overhead cam engine powers the truck crane, which achieves top speed of 62 mph.

The crane’s six-section pin and latch formed boom reaches from 38.3 to 164.1 feet. Available onboard offsettable fly is available as a two-piece (35 / 58 feet) or three-piece (9.5 / 35 / 58 feet) version. They manually offsets at 0, 15, 30, and 45 degrees. Two 16-foot lattice insert extensions provide a maximum tip height of 261.7 feet.

Other features include Link-Belt SmartFly, Link-Belt’s patented one-person fly erection technology, and a wireless rigging remote to control outriggers, outrigger beams and jacks, boom hoist, and winches.
