March 16, 2021

The Tadano GR-1300XL-4 rough terrain crane has a six-section boom that can extend up to 183.7 feet using a telescoping pinning system. Boom length range is 40 to 183.7 feet, and the jib length range is 33.8 to 59.1 feet. Maximum lift capacity is 130 tons, and maximum lifting height is 182.1 feet; 237.9 feet with the jib.

The Tadano compact carrier length is 28 feet on a two-axle system and a self-removable counterweight.

A Cummins B6.7 engine provides 280 horsepower and 850 ft.-lb. of torque. Its transmission has five forward speeds that are complemented by four steering modes.

The Tadano GR-1300XL-4 comes with 20-degree tiltable cab and is controlled by Tadano’s AML-E2 system on a 10.4-inch multifunction display that is pressure-sensitive to handle gloved operation.

The Tadano View System is a three-camera network that offers right front, rear view, and blind spot views to assist with safe crane operation and driving. The GR-1300XL-4 also includes Tadano’s Clearance Sonar system that integrates four proximity sensors into the rear fender of the crane to audibly and visually alert the operator of any obstacles behind, while also serving as a blind spot warning system.

The pump disconnect function automatically stops operation of the crane’s hydraulic pump if the crane is not operated for a certain period of time, which reduces fuel consumption.

The RT crane has Tadano’s HELLO-NET telematics web information service. The HELLO-DATA LINK app connects cranes to mobile devices via wireless LAN.
