American Pneumatic Tools introduces a line of walk-behind power trowels.
The PT244 features a 24-inch blade diameter, is powered by a 3.5-horsepower Honda GX 120 engine, and has a blade speed ranging from 40 to 115 rpm. The PT375 features a 36-inch blade, a 4.8-horsepower Honda GX 160 engine, and weighs 192 to 194 pounds depending on pitch configuration. For covering larger areas, the PT479 has a 46-inch blade, an 8-horsepower Honda GX 270 engine, and can reach blade speeds of up to 115 rpm. Each trowel comes equipped with foldable de-vibrated handles, a robust steel palm trigger, a maintenance stand, and the company’s QuickStop safety feature, which immediately stops blade rotation after a zero-degree handle spin.
