The gasoline-powered Cat CUV85 and diesel-powered CUV105 D have been added to the line of compact utility vehicles. Both seat five people, have a rear cargo capacity of 1,000 pounds, and have a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.
The four-wheel independent suspension system has a long swing-arm suspension, custom-tuned springs, and shocks deliver a balance between a smooth ride and hauling loads.
The CUV85 is powered by a 50-horsepower gasoline engine, and the CUV105 D has a 25-horsepower diesel.
The vehicles feature engine braking, a column shifter, and a continuously variable transmission. Operators can match drive to ground conditions with two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, or four-wheel drive/lock.
Easy access service points simplify vehicle maintenance, and on-board advanced diagnostics reduce troubleshooting time, the company says.
