The SV340 vertical-lift skid steer loader has a rated operating capacity (ROC) of 3,400 pounds. Improvements include a stronger lift arm, H-link, and upper chassis. Bucket breakout force is 9,531 pounds.
Powered by a 90-horsepower FPT engine, the loader has EZ-EH (electro-hydraulic) controls with nine adjustable speed and control settings. Hydraulic components that have been enhanced include manifold valves, the gear pump, and the auxiliary loader circuit. Optional auxiliary hydraulics include high-flow with 38.7 gpm at 3,450 psi, and enhanced high-flow with 35 gpm at 4,000 psi.
The cab-forward design provides 360-degree visibility and sight lines to the bucket edge/curb lines. Routine service points can be accessed at the rear of the machine, and include the engine, filters, and fill points. The cab tilts up for access to the drivetrain compartment.
