Case hydraulic hammer

Sept. 28, 2010

With available impact energy ranging 825 to 4,500 foot-pounds, there is a Case hydraulic hammer sized to fit excavator models CX75 through CX290, from 7 to 29 metric tons. A patented gas-assist operating cycle uses system hydraulics for 95 percent of the delivered energy. With only two moving parts, the hammer requires no special tools for maintenance. Shock absorption on the hammer also creates a more comfortable operator environment, due to low recoil from the small amount of nitrogen charge used.
