Albuquerque voters overwhelmingly approved extending the transportation tax, KRQE reported.
The tax is said to generate millions for road improvements, maintenance, and transit operations in the city.
Some 58 percent of voters also passed a bond issue impacting the Albuquerque Rail Yards. It provides $5 million to help clean up contamination and provide new roofs.
