The American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) has merged with the Concrete Pumping Association of Canada (CPAC). The Canadian group will operate as an ACPA chapter but retain the CPAC name.
According to ACPA, the merger solidifies the concrete pumping industry’s presence in the North American marketplace. In addition, it will give ACPA members from Canada a forum for addressing issues affecting Canadian pumpers. Current CPAC members will also be included within ACPA’s safety, training, and concrete pump operator certification program.
“CPAC’s merger with ACPA is a very positive step forward for the entire concrete pumping industry,” Christi Collins, executive director, said in a press release. “It creates synergy and alignment on both sides of the border as we advocate and lobby for shared resources for the greater concrete pumping community.”
