Construction Equipment launched its Under 40 in Construction Equipment Awards in 2013, and in this sixth year’s class we recognize 13 young people who are having a current positive effect on the industry and have the potential to bring even more to the future.
These honorees are all under the age of 40 as of the end of 2018, and represent the exciting potential existing within the heavy-equipment industry. To date, we’ve honored 101 young people.
The Under 40 Awards are open to all disciplines across construction equipment, not only those who own and manage fleet assets, but also their staffs, distributors, manufacturers, and others who support the equipment-management team.
In choosing our 13 winners this year, we looked for the following qualities and characteristics: leadership skills, inventiveness, interpersonal skills, training, dedication, personal integrity, technical skills, and industry and community involvement.
