Custom Equipment

Custom Equipment was started in 1981 by Steve and Lynn Kissinger as a small fabrication and welding repair business. The first shop was located on North Main Street, in West Bend, WI. Here we gained a reputation for providing creativity and superb customer service and quality workmanship. It was here that the first "2 in 1" scissor lift was designed and manufactured for use in mausoleums. Our company soon outgrew this location and in 1993 moved into a larger location on the south side of town, on Progress Drive, where we continue to manufacture scissor lifts. In 2004, after learning of the need in the industrial market for a smaller, lightweight lift, Custom Equipment designed and started to manufacture the "Hy-Brid" lift. Today, we continue to grow, recently moving our assembly facility and corporate headquarters to a new location in Richfield, WI. While we have grown from a small family owned business to a globally recognized aerial equipment manufacturer, we strive to maintain our commitment to producing a quality product and maintaining superb relationships to all involved.
