Toro Sells American Augers Boring Line, Trencor Brand
Toro has divested its American Augers boring product category and the Trencor brand. Michael Byrne Manufacturing said it has acquired the American Augers boring product line and related assets. Toro will continue to manufacture American Auger underground equipment.

Said Jim Weist, president of Michael Byrne Manufacturing, in a statement:

Michael Byrne Manufacturing will ensure a seamless transition for existing American Augers auger boring customers, offering ongoing service, parts support, and new equipment production, according to the company.
American Augers markets horizontal directional drills, pumps, and fluid cleaning systems. Trencor includes assets specific to the full line of large-track trenchers and mining equipment.
